Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often. For advice specific to your situation, book a consultation.

Ask Us Directly
A Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) is licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and can represent clients before IRCC and, if they hold IRB authorization, before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. An immigration lawyer is licensed by a provincial law society. Both are authorized to provide professional, legally compliant immigration services. Mrs. Besharat holds both RCIC-IRB and LSO Paralegal credentials, giving her broader representation rights than most practitioners.
IRCC's published service standard for Express Entry applications is 6 months from submission of a complete application after receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA). Wait times in the pool before receiving an ITA vary and depend on your CRS score, draw frequency, and program eligibility. We help you optimize your score and identify the fastest pathway for your profile.
Yes, Canadian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor parents and grandparents under the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP). Access is through a random selection process opened periodically by IRCC. In the meantime, a Super Visa allows parents and grandparents to visit for up to 5 years at a time. We can help with both options.
A refusal is not necessarily final. Depending on the type of application, you may be able to reapply with a stronger submission, request reconsideration, file an appeal at the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD), or seek judicial review at the Federal Court. We review refusal letters and GCMS notes to identify the best course of action.
We offer an initial consultation to assess your situation and explain your options. Please contact us to schedule a consultation and discuss our current fee structure. All fees are disclosed transparently in a written retainer agreement before any work begins.
Yes. There are pathways available depending on your circumstances, including restoration of status, Humanitarian and Compassionate (H&C) applications, and in some cases refugee claims. Time is often critical in these situations — contact us as soon as possible for a confidential assessment.
